Volunteer Spotlight

Make A Difference

Because of our valued volunteers around 93¢ cents of every dollar donated to ABCCM goes to service those in need. As an ABCCM Volunteer you can make a big difference the lives of others. Last year, through the help of our volunteers ABCCM served 19,572 hot meals, 37,508 food boxes, distributed 151,912 household items, furniture, and clothing to families with children, Veterans (including rapid rehousing for over 150 homeless Veterans), homeless women with children, and the elderly in crisis in our community.

This year, on the heels of Covid-19 ABCCM needs the help of volunteers more than ever! Whether new, or a returning volunteer at ABCCM we identify the ideal volunteer position that fits you, your interests, passion, personality and schedule. If you are blessed to be in a position to volunteer, ABCCM needs you. All you have to do is talk to one of our volunteers, which we are glad to share with you. You are likely to hear that volunteering at ABCCM is one of the most rewarding experiences of their life. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
