Donor Privacy will be the guiding principle whereby ABCCM does not share donor information with other groups; does not release any of its donor information or lists to other organizations or requests for lists on the internet; and does not publish donor information in its newsletters or other marketing materials unless it has permission from the donor. Member church names and information about its giving history will not be shared with other organizations, associations or individuals. The only exception is in the case of specific religious or educational materials that may be sent to churches (but not individuals, businesses or civic groups) and are determined to be within the mission and scope of ABCCM’s services (such as the Council on Aging providing educational materials about access to Social Security benefits to anyone over 65). A church list will only be released on a one time basis – not transmitted electronically – but only in paper label format for its intended one-time purpose.

Donors will be notified through the ABCCM website that they may choose to have their name removed from our general solicitation lists and/or newsletter list. The website will restate our donor privacy policy about not sharing donors’ name, any personal information or giving history with anyone else.
