This program will help an average of 150 families in 2013 and 300 families in 2014 with homeless prevention and rapid re-housing.

ABCCM's goal is to improve housing stability for low-income veteran families through the SSVF Program, and is a  26-county regional effort to bring an end to homelessness among veterans.   SSVF Specialists support veterans by providing case management, assistance in obtaining VA benefits, and coordination of community resources. Services may include: housing counseling services, healthcare, personal financial planning services, income support services, legal services, and childcare.

SSVF Specialists will also assist veterans by seeking to remove barriers to housing, providing temporary financial assistance with rent, security deposits, transportation, utilities and utility deposits, and open pathways to sustainable housing.
